Bailey Law
Bailey Law is a new sole practice in construction and commercial law. I helped launch it with a Squarespace site that built instant credibility and stood out from a generic template.
Create a professional Squarespace site to establish credibility for a new sole law practice
Planning site structure
I began with a call to understand his goals and clients, then mapped out the key pages: a homepage, service pages, region pages, an about page, a contact page, and a blog. This gave the practice a clear framework and ensured prospective clients could quickly find the information they needed.
Building on brand foundations
The client had started shaping his visual identity with a logo and colour palette. I built on this by creating a basic style guide for future reference, including colour codes, mono logo variations, and a shorthand logo version for use in places like a favicon. This helped bring consistency to the site while giving him a reference point for future brand use.
Lightweight design system
I built a lightweight design system for the site, focusing on essential elements like typography, colour, button styles and states, and a simple set of icons. This ensured consistency across pages while keeping the system easy for the client to manage.
Homepage – first impressions matter
A sharp, professional landing point that immediately communicates Bailey Law’s expertise. Designed to build credibility and give clients confidence from the start.
Service page – clarity builds trust
Service offerings distilled into clear, scannable sections. No jargon, just straightforward information that shows exactly what clients can expect.
Region page – local presence, real reach
Tailored pages that connect services to specific locations. This not only boosts visibility but reassures clients Bailey Law understands their context.
Article page – sharing expertise
A blog designed as more than filler — it positions Bailey Law as a trusted voice, with clear layouts and content guidelines to keep updates consistent and useful.
